Nature School is based on the idea that children reap many benefits from being in and exploring the outdoors. Nature School further allows space and encourages what may be viewed as risky play such as climbing trees, wading in a stream, exploring, building a den and a plethora of other activities. Further, Nature School allows a place for children to explore God's invisible attributes as described in Romans 1:20.

PCH's Nature School will meet monthly in the same spot in the forest. This will provide an opportunity for the students to become intimate with this particular location and note its changes through the seasons. There will be a structured gathering time with singing, and readings.

Adults will be onsite to provide reference, guidance and answer any questions. We do request that all parents also be onsite during nature school. Nature school will be largely student led, but parents are responsible for their children's safety.
