Clubs
We have a variety of clubs for students to join. Clubs are a great way for students to get involved and get the most out of their school year. Some of our clubs have different competitions. We have clubs for all ages, elementary through high school. Many clubs will have different meeting times and days, however, most clubs will meet prior to co-op. The clubs we currently offer are listed below
Yearbook - High school students and adults help us create our yearbook! There is no cost to participate. Yearbooks are available for sale to all members.
Beta Club - Currently for 4th and 5th Graders, cost is determined by the National Beta Club. State and National Convention (optional) will be additional cost, as well as possible costs associated with optional activities as determined by club members.
LEGO Club - Open registration at any time. All ages, no cost, but we ask that you make a small contribution to the prize basket for contest winners. (Dollar store items are great.)
Cooking Club - Registration is currently closed due to popularity. Cooking Club is for ages 8 and up, and teaches baking, cooking, food prep, and food service. The cost to join is $10 and includes a hat and apron. Cooking Club often sells meals for different events.
Book Club - Book Club has open registration between books, and is divided between a lower elementary group (early chapter books), and an upper elementary/middle school book club for more challenging books. The cost to join is $10 for the year, which helps cover the cost of books for our library. Non-returned books are charged a $7 replacement fee.
Chess Club - Chess Club teaches chess rules, skills, and strategy and is open for ages 5 and up. Registration is open year-round. The cost to join is $10. Additional fees may be charged if the club chooses to participate in tournaments.
